Next Impact Case Study: A Marketing Operations Journey From Concept Launch to Scalable Growth

Next Impact, founded by Puerto Rican-born Lester J. Morales, is a health benefits advisory firm built on challenging the status quo. Focused on transforming how U.S.-based employers and their insurance advisors approach health benefits.

The company is anchored by three core missions:

  • Improve quality and access to care for employees and their dependents, while generating significant savings for both them and their employers.

  • Increase education and adoption of innovative health strategies across advisers, employers, and employee populations.

  • Strengthen the direct connection between healthcare providers, employers, and employees.

Background

In 2022, Ivelisse Arroyo joined Next Impact, LLC as Digital Marketing Manager, taking the lead in building the company’s marketing department from the ground up.

She spearheaded the internal team and helped rebuild the company’s sales and marketing growth platform, supporting health benefits advisors and firms under the leadership of founder Lester J. Morales

At the time, the company was preparing for a 30-day relaunch of its Transparent Health Benefits (THB) Growth Platform, a new category in the U.S. health benefits industry.

Relaunching the program within that 30-day window was Ivelisse’s first assignment upon joining the team.

However, the company lacked the foundational marketing operations, automation, and analytics to support its ambitious go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Next Impact’s marketing function was created to empower insurance advisors and brokers who challenge the status quo in employer-sponsored healthcare. But with no internal infrastructure and rapidly growing demand, they urgently needed scalable, repeatable systems—and fast.

Challenges

Lack of Marketing Infrastructure & Operational Systems

  • No dedicated marketing operations team or documented workflows.

  • Disconnected CRM, CMS, and automation tools hindered campaign execution.

Unscalable Content Demands & Production Bottlenecks

  • High content demand with no structured production process.
  • Lack of centralized calendar, project management, campaign pipeline, and client onboarding workflows.
  • Frequent last-minute requests and unclear execution paths led to delays and reactive campaign delivery.

High Growth Pressure Without a Team to Support It

  • Needed to relaunch the THB Program in 30 days as Ivelisse’s first task.
  • Advisors required content, campaigns, and strategy support.
  • Sales and marketing functions lacked alignment and cohesion.
